HIKING

Day : Sunday April 19th, 2026. 
Time: 9am to 5pm 
Price: 3€ for members / 8€ non-members (includes welcome pack* and insurance)
Registration deadline: 28th March.
Meeting point: Estación Tren Montmeló (llegada mediante R2 dirección Granollers-Centre o R2N dirección Sant Celoni) at 9.00 am. One week before the activity you will be informed about the option of leaving Barcelona in a group.
Level/Distance: Moderate level (17km and 600m elevation gain).  

This outing is a hiking traverse from Montmeló to Mongat, crossing the Serralada Litoral and combining landscape, history, and a shared group experience. Throughout the day we will reach two summits included in the FEEC’s “100 Cims” challenge.
We will start in Montmeló and gradually make our way along mountain paths and trails until reaching Turó d’en Galzeran, an emblematic summit of the area and the first 100 Cim of the day. From there, we will enjoy open views and continue towards the sea, descending steadily until reaching Mongat.
Once in Mongat, we will complete the second goal of the day with the ascent of Turó de Montgat. Although this is a very short summit with little elevation gain (around 40 metres), it is included in the 100 Cims due to its historical significance, as this is where the Centre Excursionista de Catalunya was founded in 1876, an event commemorated by a monolith at the top.
The outing will end in Mongat, where we will stop for a drink together, bringing the day to a close in a relaxed and social atmosphere while celebrating the two 100 Cims achieved.

What to bring

– Comfortable clothes for walking.
– Some raincoat just in case
– Suitable mountain footwear (no need to wear boots)
– Water (minimum 1 liter)
– Snacks and lunch meal
– Willingness to have a good time and meet other women

The idea is to make a hike route for everyone, that allows us to interact with other people, chat and spend a good day surrounded by nature.
