Level/Distance: Physically it is Moderate level. Technically it is Easy level (there are no complications.
Planned itinerary: Hike to the Turó del Tagamanent (1,056 m) in the Vallés Oriental.
It is a route that leaves from the train station of Sant Martí de Centelles (Aiguafreda), that goes up to the Turó del Tagamanent where the remains of a castle are located. The road runs through trails, forests and beautiful landscapes. It passes by ruins, some caves and chapels, farmhouses, hermitages and some ice wells.
The route can last approximately 6 hours, including stops and lunch break. The departure point is the train station of Sant Martí de Centelles (Aiguafreda) at 9:08 am. We will leave together at 8:15 h from Barcelona and we will go with Renfe Line R3.
What to bring
– Comfortable clothes for walking.
– Some raincoat just in case
– Suitable mountain footwear (no need to wear boots)
– Water (minimum 1 liter)
– Snacks and lunch meal
– Willingness to have a good time and meet other women
The idea is to make a hike route for everyone, that allows us to interact with other people, chat and spend a good day surrounded by nature.
